Edward S. Trebilcock

OTISFIELD - Edward S. Trebilcock of Otisfield has passed away at the age of 70 after succumbing to a complicated series of illnesses. He was born on February 15, 1940, the son of Edward L. and Winifred (Pottle) Trebilcock.

He is remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, as well as a devoted and beloved teacher in the Oxford Hills area, where he taught history for 33 years. He treasured his family and was committed to his community throughout his life.

Mr. Trebilcock is survived by his wife Carol; four sons, Scott Trebilcock and wife Lisa of Raymond, Ted Trebilcock and wife Mar-E of Topsham, Toby Trebilcock and wife Liz of Mystic, CT and Ben Trebilcock and wife Nicole of South Paris;  two brothers, Steve Trebilcock and Denny Trebilcock and his four cherished grandchildren, Katie and Grace Trebilcock and Gage and Trent Trebilcock.

Family and friends attended a Memorial Mass on Saturday, November 20 at Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church in Mechanic Fall. A reception was held immediately following the Mass at the Parish Hall. Private interment followed. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Town of Otisfield Scholarship Fund, 403 State Route 121, Otisfield, ME 04270. Arrangements under the care of Oxford Hills and Weston Funeral Services, 1037 Main Street, Rte. 26, Oxford.
