NORWAY — Gladys Charlene Libby, 67, of Norway died Thursday, May 19, 2011 at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. She was born in Mechanic Falls on June 25, 1943 to Joseph and Bernadine Meggett Smith. She was a military wife for over 23 years and also a housewife.

She enjoyed spending summers at her camp on Aziscohos Lake, her gardens at camp and spending time with her family and friends and her grandchildren. She liked to play poker. She enjoyed feeding family, friends and strangers, decorating for the holidays, crocheting, and her knick knacks.

Mrs. Libby is survived by her husband, Leslie B. Libby of Norway; four children, Leslie B. Libby Jr., Craig Allen Libby, Todd M. Libby and Beverly Libby; one sister, Donna Collins; three brothers, Gene Keene, James Libby and Dale Libby; grandchildren, Heather, Sally, Anita, Tony, Travis, Ashley, Amber, Kassie and Kristen and great-grandchildren, Charlette, Logan, Camilla, Anthony, Staphenie, Tavian, Bella and Hope.
