WEST SUMNER — Nancy Irene Thurlow, 69, of West Sumner, went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 7, 2012 at the Auburn Hospice House. Born October 25, 1942 in Winchendon, MA, she was the daughter of Kenneth W. and Cynthia G. Clark.

She was a devoted wife and mother who loved her family and the Lord. She was the beloved wife of Pastor Larry Thurlow and a member of the West Sumner Baptist Church. She will be missed by her family and church.

Mrs. Thurlow is survived by her husband of 52 years, Larry B. Thurlow; daughter, Julieann M. Thurlow and her husband Raymond Brown; son, Jeffrey A. Thurlow; father, Kenneth W. Clark; sisters, Anne Zablonski, Susan Labarge and Polly Clark; eight grandchildren and her extended church family.

Calling hours, followed by a funeral service, were held on Wednesday, May 9 at the West Sumner Baptist Church, 854 Main Street, Sumner. A graveside service will be held at the Maine Veterans Cemetery, Mount Vernon Road, Augusta on Thursday, May 10 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name, the Nancy Thurlow Memorial Fund, c/o West Sumner Baptist Church, 856 Main Street, West Sumner, ME 04292.
