Beverly May (Fitts) Billings
MILTON TOWNSHIP — Beverly May (Fitts) Billings, 79, of Milton Township died Saturday, May 5, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Mechanic Falls on July 10, 1932, the youngest child of Earnest and Phebe Fitts. She worked for many years at Wilner Wood Products as well as A. L. Stewarts and Sons, both of South Paris. On January 8, 1947 she married Lloyd Arthur Billings, in South Paris. They lived in Milton Township their entire married life, raising their 15 children together there.
She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and friend. She loved being with her family, playing cards and going to yard sales. She was a member of the South Paris Baptist Church, and loved all of her church family.
Mrs. Billings is survived by her husband, Lloyd; her children, Elaine Moore and her husband David of West Townsend, MA, Zelma Roundy of Whitehouse, TN, David Billings and Marge Masterman of Otisfield, Gail Trundy and her husband Jim of Hebron, Pamela House and her husband Thomas of Bryant Pond, Bonnie Hall and her husband Thomas of Oxford, Janet Sessions and her husband Sumner of Norway, Garry Billings and his wife Lynne of Milton Township, June Jacobson and her husband Don of Harrison, Wanda Ridley of South Paris, Jacqueline Young and her husband Glen of South Paris, Lloyd Billings and his wife Sue of Milton Township, Raymond Billings and his wife Kristine of Brookline, NH, Michael Billings of Rumford and Allison Bellegrade and her husband Bruce of Londonderry, NH; 43 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Earnest Fitts and his wife Janice of Poland; a sister, June Bowman of Auburn; two sisters-in-law, Luna Ackers of Bethel and Irene Billings of Milton Township and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; a brother, Linwood Fitts and his wife Betty; a brother-in-law, Gerald Billings; a sister-in-law, Ola Miele and her husband Emile and a son-in-law, Arthur Roundy.
Visiting hours were held Tuesday, May 8, at Chandler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Andrews Chapel, 64 Andrews Rd. Bryant Pond.
