NORWAY — Sandy Thomas, 65, of Norway fell asleep in Jesus on Sunday, April 30, 2011 at Maine Medical Center in Portland. She was born March 10, 1946 in Norway, the daughter of Lawrence Sessions and Eva (O’Brien) Tripp. She was member of the Mechanic Falls Advent Christian Church.

Mrs. Thomas is survived by her husband, Robert, daughter, Brenda-le Thomas and son, Peter Thomas all of Norway; sisters, Eris Sessions, Judy and husband Lee Brown, Janice Lord, Jacqueline O’Brien and Elaine and husband Jack Tisdale; brother, Kenny Hatstat and grandchildren, Jayme Thomas and Abby and Robert Dalzell. She is predeceased by daughter, Mari Ellen Thomas; granddaughter, Jesse White; mother, Eva Tripp; sister, Beverly Gauthier and brother, Larry Sessions.

A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, May 8 at 2 p.m. at the Advent Christian Tabernacle in Mechanic Falls. Donations in her memory may be made to the Mechanic Falls Advent Christian Church wheelchair ramp fund and sent to Linda Lenahan, treasurer, 253 S. Main St. Mechanic Falls, ME 04256.
