NORWAY — Kenneth L. Reed of Norway died peacefully at Norway Rehabilitation Center in Norway on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 after a long illness. He was born on March 30, 1934 in Greene, son of Norman Reed and Myra Robbins. He attended schools in Greene. He served his country in the Army, Navy and Marine Corp. He worked in the Norway Shoe Shop for many years.

He will always be remembered as a guy nobody could ever forget. He loved to joke and loved to live life to the fullest.

Mr. Reed is survived by his wife, Barbara Reed of Norway; daughter, Edna Reed of Norway; grandson, Ernie Roy of Norway; brothers, Walter Reed of Oxford, Milton Reed of Bangor and half brother, Donald Robbins of Auburn. He is predeceased by brother, Earlon Reed of Auburn and Almyra Thyng of Norway.

Family and friends attended visiting hours on Sunday, April 29 at Oxford Hills and Weston Funeral Services, 1037 Main St., Route 26, Oxford. Funeral services were held on Monday, April 30 at the funeral home. On-line condolences may be expressed to the family at www.oxfordhillsfuneralservices.com.
