HARRISON — Michael J. Mentus, 64, of Summit Hill Rd., died peacefully on March 25, 2011 after a long illness. He was born September 2, 1946 in Stoneham, MA, a son of Michael and Delphia Jean Case Mentus. He was a pharmacist, having worked for many years in Bridgton at Rite Aid, Bridgton Pharmacy and Hannaford. He was a member of Order of Eastern Star, Masons, St. Peter's Episcopal Church and was involved in the Harrison Bocce League. He will be extremely missed by all.

Surviving are his loving wife Karen Varney Mentus; his children, Tambrey, Tenneyson, Alycia and Robert; his brother, Geoffrey; his sister, Jane and eight grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 18, at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Bridgton. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to Bridgton Hospital Special Gifts, 10 Hospital Dr., Bridgton, ME 04009. Arrangements are by Hall Funeral Home, Casco.
