OXFORD — Glenna B. Hewey, 58, of Oxford died early Wednesday morning, March 23, 2011 at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. She was born in Oxford September 4, 1952, the daughter of Howard and Leona Paine Record. She attended school in Oxford and graduated from Oxford Hills High School and received her CNA certificate.

She had worked as a teller at Norway National Bank, had been a homemaker, sold Avon and most recently was the office manager at Record Building Supply in Oxford. She loved to be with her family, grandchildren and friends. On October 25, 1969 she married Bernard Hewey.

Mrs. Hewey is survived by her husband; daughter Beth and her partner Allen; two sons, Brian and his wife Tracey and Brent; her mother, Leona Record; grandchildren, Kallie, Alyssa, Zachary and Zowie; great-grandson, Jordan; brothers, Ken Record and his wife Lorraine, Eugene and his wife Mary, Elton and his wife Janice, Vern and his wife Debbie and Merle and his wife Jean and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Howard and sister, Gwendolyn.

Her family received family and friends at Chandler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 45 Main Street, South Paris on Saturday, March 26 with a funeral service following.
