MINOT — Cynthia A. Trundy, 83, of Minot died Sunday morning, March 20, 2011 at Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway. She was born in Hartford, April 29, 1927, the daughter of Carl and Helen Reed Bonney. She attended schools in Sumner and Buckfield and on December 9, 1944 she married Maynard Trundy, Sr.

She worked for 30 years in the housekeeping department at Hebron Academy. She was a member of the Extension and the West Minot Union Church, where she had been the organist for 30 yrs. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and puzzles. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, who always thought of others first.

Mrs. Trundy is survived by her husband, a son, Warren and his wife Ellen and a daughter-in-law, Susan, all of Minot; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and three nephews, Earl, Jimmy and Stanley Bonney. She was predeceased by a son, Maynard, Jr. (Sonny); a brother, Malcolm and her parents.

Graveside services will be held later in the spring at Riverside Cemetery, West Minot. Time and date will be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to the West Minot Union Church, c/o Janice Verrill, 907 Woodman Hill Rd., Minot, ME 04258.
