WOODSTOCK — Claribel Poland went home to be with the Lord on February 22, 2011.

She was born in South Paris on August 24, 1912 to Harrison and Lillian Swift. On June 3, 1938 she married Leon, Buster, Poland.

She is survived by four children, Leon Poland, Jr, wife Rosalie, Beverly Dayton, husband Howard, Kenneth Poland, wife Sandra, Donna Kusheba, husband, Richard.

She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Lloyd Poland, and wife Gina, Larry Poland, Leilani Poland and husband BurtBertram, Matthew Dayton and wife Michelle,Danielle Hasbrouck and husband Kyle, Kimberly Poland, Shane Poland and wife Veronica, Ricki Mack and wife Lisa and Vicki Hill.

Also, 18 Great Grandchildren, Natasha Hodson, Alex Poland, Taliyah Dayton, Sully Poland, Molly Poland and Sawyer Poland, Megan Mack, Randi Mack, Jaymi Mack, Kendall Hill, Dallas Poland, Camrin Poland, Derick Poland and Dylan Poland, Eugena Maguire, Shenley Smith, McKenzie Bertram, Britton Bertram. Also six great, great grandchildren, Thad and Ethan Hodson,Gracie and Abner Poland, Lexie Mack and Aleah Davis and a sister, Barbara Cash.

Claribel was named the oldest citizen in Woodstock in 2009, and was presented a gold cane. She also worked many years with the Willing Workers. She and her deceased husband worked in the restuarant business. Claribel loved her family and friends and will be missed by all.

Both visiting hours and funeral are at Woodstock Seventh Day Adventist Church on Thursday, February 24, 2011. Visitng hours are at 1 p.m. and the funeral is at 2.
