LEWISTON — Annette M. Cook, 67, of Montello Manor, died Monday, January 17, 2011 due to complications of bronchitis and respiratory failure. She was born in Leeds, the daughter of Walter and Nettie Cook. She lived her entire life in nursing homes and moved around a lot. She liked to make people laugh and was quite a character. She also liked to do puzzles, coloring, playing cards and bingo.

Ms. Cook is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Christina and Sean Bartlett of Mechanic Falls; two grandchildren of Mechanic Falls; her brothers, Rand Cook of Mechanic Falls, Gerald Cook of Alabama and Paul Cook of Lewiston and one sister, Judy Cook. She was predeceased by her sister, Beverly Bragg and three brothers, Steve Cook, Raymond Cook and John Cook Sr.

Her service was held Saturday, January 22 at the Mechanic Falls Church of the Nazarene; she will be interned in the spring. Arrangements are by Funeral Alternatives, 25 Tampa St., Lewiston.
