Norman A. Perham

WOODSTOCK — Norman A. Perham, 93, of Woodstock, died May 13, 2011 at the Maine Veterans' Home in South Paris. He was born October 4, 1917 in Woodstock, the son of Nelson and Emma Perham. He enlisted in the Army on May 3, 1943 and served as a radio operator and mechanic until his honorable discharge as a Sergeant on March 3, 1946.

He lived in Woodstock all his life and he earned his living by working in the woods. He was an avid reader and loved visiting with his many friends.

Mr. Perham is survived by a niece, Janice Myers of Florida and her children, William Alvin Myers, Jr., Bertha Ann Myers, Richard Alan Myers and Elizabeth Myers; nine great-great-nieces and nephews and his best friend, Leon Poland of Woodstock. He was predeceased by his parents, Nelson and Emma Perham.

There will be no services.
