Helen A. Aumento

WEST PARIS — Helen A. Aumento, 87, of West Paris died March 19, 2011 at Ledgeview Living Center. She was born in Owega, NY on March 30, 1923, the daughter of Claude and Lena Wittling Schrauger. She had been a homemaker all of her life.

Mrs. Aumento is survived by her husband, Charlie Aumento; two daughters, Sue Scutti and Elizabeth Smith; a son, Lloyd McCreedy; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two daughters, Patricia O’Connell and Marie Twitchell and four brothers, Louis, Grant, Ed and Roy Schrauger.

Graveside services will be held later in the summer at Fore Street Cemetery in Oxford. Arrangements are under the direction of Chandler Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, 45 Main St., South Paris.
