Robert K. Knight

SOUTH PARIS — Robert K. Knight, 79, of South Paris died Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway. He was born in Martinsville, IN on December 16, 1932, the son of James and Myrtle Settles Knight. He attended schools in Indiana and faithfully served in the U. S. Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict. He worked at Hillcrest chicken processing plant and later at Belfast Poultry Plant. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and horse racing.

Mr. Knight is survived by his wife, Beverly Russell Knight of South Paris; a son, David Knight of South Paris; two granddaughters, Theresa Knight of Gorham and Michelle Knight of Farmington and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Roy of Locke Mills and Frank Knight of Indiana and a sister, Virginia Heath.
