Daphine T. Mains

BRIDGTON — Daphine T. Mains, 57, passed away at Fryeburg Health Care Center on March 14, 2011 after a long illness. She was born in Bridgton on February 13, 1954, the daughter of Elisha, Sr. and Maude (Hartford) Mains. She attended local schools, graduating from Lake Region High School in 1972. She was employed by Sebago Moccasin of Bridgton for 17 1/2 years. She also worked for Walmart in Windham as well as North Conway, NH. She enjoyed reading, listening to Country Music and interacting with people.

Miss Mains was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Justin Mains. Surviving are her brother, Elisha T. Mains, Jr. of Bridgton and two nieces, Jennifer Mains of Bridgton and Alison Carr of Brooklyn, NY.

A graveside service will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name may be made to either Camp Sunshine, P.O. Box 829 South Casco, ME 04077 or Harvest Hills Animal Shelter, 1389 Bridgton Rd. Fryeburg, ME 04106. Arrangements are by Hall Funeral Home, Casco.
