Frank H. Knox

FRYEBURG — Frank Hill Knox, 88, of Fryeburg, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 27, 2011. He was born November 11, 1922 to Wendell H. and Edith Haley Knox. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Fred H. Knox.

He was a proud US Army veteran. He loved to entertain while playing guitar in The Black Mountain Band of Hebron. He was an avid outdoorsman.

Mr. Knox is survived by his son, John (Teresa) Knox of Medina, OH; his daughters, Elizabeth (Steven) Papin of St. Charles, MO and Kellie (Doug) Price of Hinckley, OH and his grandchildren, Adam, Ariel, Alexandria, Jordan, Kyle and Michael.

There will be no public memorial service. Interment will be at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 163 Mt. Vernon Rd., Augusta. Arrangements are under the direction of Andrews Funeral Home, 64 Andrews Rd., Bryant Pond.
