Norman A. Putnam

BRYANT POND — Norman A. Putnam, 88, of Bryant Pond died Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at the Hospice House in Auburn. He was born in Lynn, MA on April 8, 1923, the son of Harold W. and Sarah Haynes Putnam. He held a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. He served in the U. S. Army. He married Joan Blair on August 21, 1948. He was a member of the Masons, the Scottish Rite, the Appalachian Mountain Club and the American Legion.

Mr. Putnam is survived by his wife of Bryant Pond; three sons, Jeffrey, Randall and his wife Susan and Nathaniel; a daughter, Sarah Klimkowski and her husband Joseph and four grandchildren.

At Mr. Putnam's request there will be no services. Arrangements are under the direction of Chandler Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Andrews Chapel, 64 Andrews Rd., Bryant Pond.
