Sandy Kennedy Wiseman

NEW MIDDLETOWN, IN — Sandy Kennedy Wiseman, 47, of New Middletown, IN, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany, IN. She was born in Norway on August 10, 1964, the daughter of Darrell and Alice Watters Kennedy.

She was a paramedic for Harrison County Hospital in Indiana, and had been a paramedic and saved many lives for 19 years. She was a former president of the South Harrison Seahawks Swim Team, was very active with Boy Scout Troop 47 and was an organ donor.

Mrs. Wiseman is survived by her husband, Roy Wiseman of New Middletown, IN; two sons, Jonathan Sellers of Memphis, TN, and Kyle Sellers of Elizabeth, IN; a daughter, Tori Wiseman of New Middletown, IN; two brothers, Darrell Kennedy and Nancy of Pendergrass, GA and Bill Kennedy and Maureen of Otisfield and three sisters, Cheri Cannon and Tony of Riverview, FL, Teresa Hodges and Lenny of Plantation, FL and Barbara Donahue of Laconia, IN.

Funeral services were held at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, IN. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth.

The family suggests memorial gifts be made to Kentucky Organ Donors Association (KODA), to Boy Scouts of America or to the Corydon Central Vanguard.
