Even by his own admission, Rep. Bolduc's contributions during the last legislative session were less than impressive. Seven out of eight of his proposals were defeated unanimously in committee. Two of those bills, a ban on merit pay for teachers and the hiring of relatives by the same school district, would have harmed members of his chosen profession if they had been approved.

It astounds me that Rep. Bolduc thinks that he deserves a promotion based upon this abysmal record and his inept performance. Instead of contemplating a run for governor, Bolduc should be concerned with getting re-elected in his district in the fall of 2010. This delusion of grandeur is clouding his judgment about his professional competency as a lawmaker.
