TOTALED — A 2000 Dodge Intrepid, driven by Harry Hutchinson, 66 of Andover and carrying a juvenile passenger, collided with a tractor-trailer, owned and operated by Mark Farnum, 46 of Bryant Pond after it attempted to make a U-turn on Route 26 in West Paris in front of J & K Sporting Goods on Friday afternoon. The collision caused the tractor-trailer unit to jackknife and backed up northbound traffic for more than an hour. According to Oxford County Deputy Chris Davis, nobody was injured in the accident. The tractor-trailer received front-end damage and the car was a total loss, he said. A witness said that Farnum, the driver of the tractor-trailer, did all he could to avoid the accident.
