ENGULFED — A fire broke out around 2 a.m. in a mobile home on Just Right Acres in Waterford Wednesday, while the homeowner, Michael Corriveau, was still inside, reported Waterford Fire Chief Adrien Morin. According to Morin, the home was fully engulfed by flames by the time firefighters arrived, but Corriveau was able to escape the home safely. Morin said he believes the fire, which took more than two hours to knock down, started at the end of the home where the wood stove is located and traveled to the other side. Norway and Stoneham firefighters assisted Waterford with putting out the blaze, said Morin. According to reports, the State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause.
