Bryant Pond

BRYANT POND — Sunday services at the Baptist Church are Sunday School at 9:15 a.m., Morning Worship at 10:30 a.m. and Evening Service at 6 p.m. Prayer meeting is at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. On Saturday, February 16, there will be a valentine dinner at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. On February 17, the church will celebrate Heritage Day.

Judith Grover Tent 27 will meet on Monday, February 11, at the home of Alice Hoyt. Valentines will be written to veterans.

The Woodstock-Greenwood Senior Citizens will meet today, February 7, at the Town Conference Room. There will be a potluck dinner so please bring a dish to share and your own place setting. The program is a silent auction so please bring an item for this. Dues are due at this meeting.

The Grange is putting on a public chowder supper on Thursday, February 21, at the Woodstock Elementary School to benefit the Monument Fund for enlargement of the Honor Roll. The supper will include chowders, dessert, rolls, etc. More details next week. Please plan to support this good cause.

The program at Whitman Memorial Library at 2 p.m. on February 14, will be Charlotte Winchester doing a holiday craft. Supplies will be provided. This is open to the public at no charge and light refreshments will be served.

The weather sure changes fast — ice in one morning and 50° or over the next morning (January 31).
