WEST SUMNER — Mount Tom Snowmobile Cub meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Sumner Town Office. Brent Hadley is the president and his number is 388-2500. The club is looking for new members.

Ian Michael Madison was born on December 12, 2012 to Hans and Julie Madison. He is my great-grandson and Brent and Carol's grandson. This makes two grandsons for them. He is a good baby and growing well.

On Saturday, January 5, Larry Litchfield came home from the hospital after having pneumonia. He is recovering now at home with his wife Susan nursing him. I visited there recently and Susan's mother Evelyn Chamberlain. We have things in common, both coming from big families.

Martha Hadley and her daughter Laurie came to visit me Monday. That was a wonderful surprise and it was so good to see them.

I also visited Ellie Andrews recently. She is doing well this winter. She is still driving and takes care of herself at 94. She still has a sense of humor.
