West Sumner

WEST SUMNER — The West Sumner Baptist Church services are as follows: Sunday School at 9:45 a.m., Morning Service at 11 a.m. Evening Service at 6 p.m. and Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting at 7 p.m.

We will be caroling on December 21, at the Villa in Canton at 7 p.m. We will be having a Family Night on December 23, and there will be lots of Christmas music.

We have lost another citizen of Sumner, Mary Robinson. I will miss her. My condolences go to her family.

I certainly wish we weren't getting all this rain. Snow without rain is good.

I got a call from Larry Stup recently. He is planning to come to Maine in January. Judy is going to Florida to Disney World.

In a few days, Christmas 2012 will be history and 2013 will be here. Have you made out your New Year's resolutions yet? I expect right now you are very busy getting ready for the big day. My family will be getting together at Ruth's house Christmas night.
