Norway Town Hall

NORWAY — The Town Office will close at noon on Monday, December 24 and reopen at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, December 26 in observance of the Christmas holiday.

Hunting and Fishing Licenses for 2013 are in and ready to be purchased for your holiday gift giving!

Dog licenses are in. All dogs six months of age or older must be licensed. Licenses expire December 31 and must be renewed yearly. You must bring a State of Maine Rabies Vaccination Certificate with you as well as a spay/neuter certificate if applicable.

Fees are $6 if the dog is spayed/neutered and $11 if not spayed/neutered. A late fee of $25 will be added to the license cost if the dog is not registered by January 31.

Registration forms for the Norway Recreation Department after school programs starting in January are now available at the town office and on the website. The programs are basketball for grades K, one and two; bowling; ice skating and snow shoeing.

There will be a grand opening of the New Balance Warming Hut on Friday, January 11, from 6-8 p.m. The warming hut is located at the town ice rink on Cottage Street.
