WEST SUMNER — I believe that you think I haven't felt like writing. The truth of the matter is that my old computer just quit working.

I have had a new laptop given to me. Then I had to have a new printer. Everything takes time. Now I just have to learn how to use it.

Thanksgiving has come and gone. Hope you all had a good one. Hunting season is over and Brent, Carol and Ben got their deer. Carol got a small 100-pound spikehorn.

She was some excited. Brent likes to hunt all month. He got his deer Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. It was a 130-pound doe. Ben got his Saturday, the last day, and he got a small buck and it had little button horns.

A longtime friend of mine has finished her course on this earth. Irene Richardson, my first cousin, went home to be with the Lord on November 25. Her mother and my mother were sisters.

She was born in North Paris, back when mothers had their babies at home. A few years later they moved to Sumner where she lived most of her life. My sympathies go out to her children.
