BRYANT POND — Sunday services at the Baptist Church are Sunday School at 9:15 a.m., Morning Worship at 10:30 a.m. and Evening Service at 6 p.m. Prayer meeting is at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. On December 11, the church will host the Planet and Root Maine Rally at 7 p.m. followed by fellowship time. The children's program will be December 16, at 6 p.m. and the candlelight service is December 23, at 6 p.m.

The Whitman Memorial Library program will be today, December 6, at 2 p.m. Charlotte Winchester will be leading a Christmas craft project of Christmas tree ornaments at the library. Supplies will be provided but if you have a glue gun, please bring it. The public is invited at no charge and light refreshments will be served.

The Woodstock-Greenwood Senior Citizens will meet today, Thursday, December 6, at 11:30 a.m. at the Legion Hall in Locke Mills for a meeting and dinner put on by the Legion Auxiliary. The program will be the Forestdale School children. If you wish to exchange gifts, then bring one. If you want, bring an item for the food pantry in Bethel and a gift for Christmas for Children.

Judith Grover Tent 17, Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War, will meet on Monday, December 10, at 7 p.m. This is the Christmas party with exchange of gifts and cards and also a tasting party.

Mr. and Mrs. James Hoyt held Thanksgiving dinner on Wednesday, as Maggie Hoyt and friend Whitney of Washington, D.C. and Joseph Hoyt and friend Kelsey of Edgecomb could be there.

Ken and I enjoyed two Thanksgiving dinners as we joined Jim and Charlene Hoyt on Wednesday, and Leatrice Chase on Thursday. Twenty-two were present at Leatrice's with most of our family and part of Leatrice's. Marybeth Hoover and cat Rufus visited us from Thanksgiving to Sunday.

Franklin Grange 124 will meet on Saturday, December 8, at 10 a.m. at the Grange Hall for a meeting, Christmas program and dinner.

Larry Billings would like to invite the public to his apartment at A9 Bethel House to see his Christmas exhibits.
