NORWAY — The first half of Norway taxes are due Tuesday, November 20. You can now pay your taxes online! A new feature the town has added for your convenience. Go to www.norwaymaine.com; near the bottom of the list on the left side you will see the phrase "pay taxes online." This will walk you through the process.

The Town Office will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 22 and 23, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

The Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade is starting in Norway this year, so don’t miss it! On Saturday, November 24, at 11 a.m. the parade will step onto Main Street from Whitman Street and proceed toward South Paris. So Main Street will be closed for the parade just before 11 a.m. instead of around 1 p.m.

On Friday, November 30, Santa and Mrs. Claus will come back to Norway! They will fly their sleigh low down Main Street at 5:30 p.m. on their way to Butters Park to light the Christmas trees. After the lighting, Santa and Mrs. Claus will meet you at the Fire Station for pictures, story reading and refreshments.
