BRYANT POND — Sunday services at the Baptist Church are Sunday School at 9:15 a.m., Morning Worship at 10:30 a.m. and Evening Service at 6 p.m. Prayer meeting is at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Woodstock-Greenwood Senior Citizens will meet on Thursday, November 1 (today), at the Locke Mills Church for a meeting, dinner and a game party. The meeting starts at 11:30 a.m. followed by a lunch by the Ladies Circle. Please bring an item for a game prize.
The Whitman Memorial Library's program for Thursday, November 8, at 2 p.m. will be Suzanne Dunham of Greenwood who will present a program on "Honey Bees and Other Pollinators. "
She will ascribe the practice and mystery of beekeeping and the importance of honey bees and other pollinators to us and our environment. Brian and Suzanne have had bees for five years at their Greenwood home. The public is invited at no charge and light refreshments will be served.
Franklin Grange will hold a Mock Hee Haw Show on Saturday, November 10, at 7 p.m. at the Grange Hall.
The Woodstock Historical Society will meet at the Town Conference Room on Saturday, November 10, at 6 p.m. for a regular meeting. The program will be Town Manager Vern Maxfield talking about the upcoming bicentennial of Woodstock. Refreshments will follow.
Judith Grover tent 17, Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War, will meet on Monday, November 12, at the home of Alice Hoyt for a meeting and nomination of officers. Please bring items for Togus patients or the gift shop for Christmas.
