Norway Town Hall

NORWAY — There is room for more in the Norway Recreation Department eight-week After School Bowling Program run on Thursdays at Hobbs Lucky Lanes from 3-4:30 p.m. SAD #17 bus transportation will be provided from Guy Rowe School to Hobbs.

This is open to grades two through eight; students in grades K-one can attend if accompanied by an adult. Fee is $10 to register and $5 each week you play which will include cost of transportation, shoe rental and strings played. Registration forms are available at the Town Office, Guy Rowe School and www.norwaymaine.com.

The Norway Halloween Festival will be Friday, October 26, on Main Street from 2-5 p.m. Trick or Treat on Main Street, activities, mascots, games and more. Parents are encouraged to dress up too!

Daylight Savings Time ends on Sunday, November 4. Set your clocks back one hour. This is also a good time to check and/or replace batteries in all your home detectors.

Have you practiced a fire drill in your home lately? Do you have your house numbers on both sides of your mailbox, on a post at the end of your driveway or if your home is close to the road on the side of your house? These ‘to do list’ items are for your safety in case of an emergency.
