Norway Town Hall

NORWAY — Fire Prevention Week is October 7-13. The theme this year is "Have 2 Ways Out." Please practice fire drills in your home.

This is also a good time to make sure your house numbers are on both sides of your mailbox, on a post at the end of your driveway or if your home is close to the road on the side of your house.

This helps first responders to find you in case you are having an emergency and need help quick!

The Town Office will be closed on Monday, October 8, in observance of Columbus Day.

The Norway Recreation Department eight-week After School Bowling Program starts Thursday, October 11 at Hobbs Lucky Lanes from 3-4:30 p.m. SAD #17 bus transportation will be provided from Guy Rowe School to Hobbs.

This is open to grades two through eight; students in grades K-one can attend if accompanied by an adult. Fee is $10 to register and $5 each week you play which will include cost of transportation, shoe rental and strings played.

Registration forms are available at the Town Office, Guy Rowe School and www.norwaymaine.com.

The Firemen’s Relief Auxiliary Association will hold a Roast Turkey Supper Saturday, October 13, from 5-6 p.m. at the Fire Station.

The Norway Halloween Festival will be Friday, October 26, on Main Street from 2-5 p.m.

The Norway Town Office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.; telephone 743-6651, fax 743-5307, web address www.norwaymaine.com and Face Book: norwaymaine.
