BRYANT POND — Sunday services at the Baptist Church are Sunday School at 9:15 a.m., Morning Worship at 10:30 a.m. and Evening Service at 6 p.m. Prayer meeting is at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. On Sunday, September 9, the evening service will be in at the Church Hill Baptist in Augusta.

Steve Elliot will hold a training class at the church on Saturday, September 8, from 2 to 4 p.m. and again on Sunday morning, September 9.

The church has moved forward with their building project repairing the foundation and redoing the meeting house. If you wish to donate to this fund, mark it for the building fund.

The Woodstock-Greenwood Senior Citizens will meet (today) on September 6, at the Masonic Hall at 11:30 a.m. The lunch will be served by the Star Birthday Club and the program to follow will be on Lyme disease by Rhonda Buker and Diana Farnum. New members are always welcome.

The Woodstock Historical Society will meet on Saturday, September 8, at 6 p.m. at the museum. The meeting will be followed by light refreshments.

Judith Grover Tent 17, Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War, will meet on Monday, September 10.

Remember that school has started so watch out for children and buses.

Kay Hoover, mother of Steve Hoover, has been visiting Steve and Beth Hoover. On Saturday, Marybeth Hoover gave her parents an early 25th anniversary party at their home on Saturday, August 25. It was a beautiful day and around 40 people attended from the area and Steve's sister and husband, Bethany and Dave, and mother from New York.

Mr. and Mrs. David and Sandra Farnum were given a 50th anniversary party at the Grange Hall by their children on Saturday, August 25. A good crowd attended.
