BRYANT POND — Sunday services at the Baptist Church are Sunday School at 9:15 a.m., Morning Worship at 10:30 a.m. and Evening Service at 6 p.m. Prayer meeting is at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
On Sunday, August 26, missionary Mike Farris will preach at the Sunday morning service. He is missionary to the military. On Sunday, September 9, the evening service will be in Augusta, at a special service at the Church Hill Baptist.
On Saturday, August 11, the Baptist Church and Sunday School enjoyed a cookout at Marybeth Hoover's in Yarmouth. Walks on the beach, rocks, swimming and games were enjoyed.

The Woodstock Historical Society met at the museum on Saturday, August 11. The group held a cookout, meeting and program. Starting in September, they will hold their meetings at 6 p.m. followed by a program and light refreshments.
The next meeting is September 8, at 6 p.m. at the museum.
On Sunday, Ken and Alice Hoyt had a cookout and present were Steve and Marybeth Hoover, Jim, Charlene and Maggie Hoyt, Crystal Case, Shawn Allen and baby Shawn and Ken and Alice Hoyt.
Maggie stayed overnight. She has since returned to Washington, DC where she attends Gallaudet University.
Sympathy is extended to the family of Eleanor Wing Farnum.
Mike Dailey and fiancee Jessica have been visiting a few days with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Chase and brother Hunter.
The Woodstock-Greenwood Senior Citizens will meet Thursday, September 6, at the Masonic Hall with an 11:30 a.m. meeting and dinner by the Star Birthday Club.
The program will be on Lyme disease with Rhonda Buker or Diane Farnum. All seniors are welcome and the dinner is $7.
