South Woodstock

SOUTH WOODSTOCK — Good sunny morning to all; it's a hazy day with temperatures in the 70s and very humid.

Condolences are going out to those who have recently lost a loved one or friend. Our thoughts and prayers to each of them.

Belated birthday wishes to my friends Terry Turner and Gladys Lee. I love you, and hope you had a great day.

Down East Country Music Association presents Country Round Up Jamboree that will be held at the Crooked River (Casco) campground on August 17, 18 and 19, Friday 6-11 p.m.; Saturday 11 a.m.-11 p.m. and Sunday open to musicians.

Performers and entertainers will include Over the Hill Band, Terry Moore, Lolalee, Barry Wood, Missing Pieces Band, Miro Zeiba, The Redneck Band, Sharon Plummer, Kim Curry and many, many more.

There will be raffles, 50/50 drawings and food. For more information, call Sharon at 655-3471 or Kevin at 671-4482.

Last minute touches for the Country Sunday Show & Dance for August 12 in Litchfield. A lot goes into planning and organizing these shows, but it's worth every moment of it.

My niece recently moved into her new home in Waterford.

Get well wishes to Willy Hathaway, who recently had to have some surgery.

This is a busy month for the band, a lot of bookings to fill. And we all enjoy what we do.

Just got an important phone call so I gotta run; that is all from the valley this week.

Stay well, enjoy each day.
