Bryant Pond

BRYANT POND — Sunday services at the Baptist Church are Sunday School at 9:15 a.m., Morning Worship at 10:30 a.m. and Evening Service at 6 p.m. Prayer meeting is at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Vacation Bible School is from 6 to 8 p.m. on August 6 to 10. Everyone is invited to attend.

On Saturday, July 14, the Woodstock Historical Society met at the museum for a 6 p.m. supper and meeting. The next meeting in August, at 6 p.m. will be a cookout at the museum, and items to bring are hamburg, hot dogs, rolls, salads and watermelon, etc. to share.

Starting in September, all meetings will start at 6 p.m. followed by refreshments. The museum is open Saturdays, from 1 to 4 p.m. Be sure to visit.

Joseph Hoyt of Edgecomb and friend Kelsey were at his dad's, Mr. and Mrs. James Hoyt, for a cookout on Saturday. Later they stayed at his grandparents, Ken and Alice Hoyt.

On Sunday afternoon Marybeth Hoover of Yarmouth visited her grandparents and showed them pictures and told them about the trip to Europe she took with a group from school. Marybeth also visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Hoover.

Leatrice Chase was a dinner guest of Ken and Alice.

On Monday evening Franklin Grange 124 met at the hall. The next meeting is Music Night and an open meeting and the public is invited. On August 11, at 7 p.m. there will be a fundraiser bluegrass show at the Grange Hall.

Work has again started on the bathroom. The program was as follows: Opening Thought with each one remembering something from the "good old days," Song "There's a Long, Long Trail," Poem "Down Home" read by Sandra Savage, Song "When You Wore a Tulip," Skit by Sharon and Richard, Music by Laura Hutchins and Richard Felt, Puzzle Game by Diane, Closing Song "Sing Your Way Home" and Closing Thought.

Remember that August 6, at 7 p.m. is Music Night and everyone is invited. There is no charge and refreshments will be served.
