WEST SUMNER — I hope you all had a happy 4th of July as we did. Kendall, Ruth, Todd, Brian and I had a couple of meals together. Brian bought lobster one night and we really enjoyed that.

Brent, Carol, Ben, Gretchen and Ethan spent the 4th up to Cathedral Pines. They arrived home safety Saturday. Brent and Carol really enjoy their grandson.

Larry and Judy Stup arrived here July 11, and they are getting settled in.


Paul and Pauline Kirshner had a foster daughter for 10 years when she was a young girl. Her name was Helen Tripp. She is married now to a man named Herrick, and they live in Port St. Lucie, FL.

They have a grown son by the name of Dustin who has a wife named Ashley. This couple are visiting Paul and Pauline. They are on their honeymoon, enjoying our lovely State of Maine.

Katie Corson, Brad's daughter, and Trevor Averill, Eddie and Jane's grandson, recently graduated from Buckfield High School. A party was hosted by Eugene and Patty at their home. A lot of boating, swimming, fireworks and good food was enjoyed.

Eugene and Patty Corson just recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. A good gathering was enjoyed at their home with friends and family.

The store in West Sumner is now opened. I went over recently and had breakfast — good food and the price was right.

The next events will be family reunions.
