SOUTH WOODSTOCK — Another hot sunny summer day. It’s 8:10 a.m. and its already 72 degrees out. Got the air conditioners on with several floor fans circulating the cool air throughout the house, trying to keep it cool.

I so hate this awful hot, humid weather. Give me a day of 70 degrees with a cool breeze and lots of blue skies and sunshine and I’ll be happy.

Just a reminder of the Oxford County Sheriff’s Dept. Annual Triad program to be held at the Fryeburg Fairgrounds on Friday, June 29. Coffee and donuts and popcorn and then lunch will be served at noon by the Sheriff’s helpers.

Special thanks to Linda Hooker for all she does in putting this program together along with Sheriff Gallant and his staff. There will also be a 50/50 drawing and raffles.

We are off to entertain the residents at Marshwood Rehab. today. Betty Davis is going to join me for the ride and we will be stopping off to enjoy some lunch along the way.

Get well wishes are going out to Maurice and Gloria Hadley, they both have had some medical issues over the past couple of weeks.

Get well wishes to Shirley Brackett who recently had to have some surgery done.

I stopped by to visit with them briefly the first of the week on my way to town. I ran into my niece and her boyfriend Randy at the Dollar Store Thursday morning. It was good seeing them both, I hadn’t seen them for a few weeks.
