BRYANT POND — Sunday services at the Baptist Church are Sunday School at 9:15 a.m., Morning Worship at 10:30 a.m. and Evening Service at 6 p.m. Prayer meeting is at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Franklin Grange 124 met at the Grange Hall on Monday, June 18, for a CWA meeting. A 6 p.m. supper was held.

Nancy Dewing from West Paris was the Master, Overseer was Clara Lamers from Norway, the Lecturer was Alice Hoyt, the Steward was Richard Felt, AS was Harold Parsons, LAS was Mildred Parsons, Chaplain was Vicki Clark, Treasurer was Sandra Savage, Secretary was Laura Hutchins, GK was Diane Dupree, Ceres was Ethel Lacers, Pomona was Irene Mills, Flora was Olive Risko, the pianist was Laura Hutchins and the Executive Committee was Andy Dewing and Butch Clark.

The Grange will put on the senior citizen luncheon in July.

The program was as follows: Opening Thought, The value of a smile; Song, "My Country Tis of Thee; 
facts on the American flag by Vicki Clark; Our Country's Symbol by Alice Hoyt; Song, "America the Beautiful;" history of the Pledge of Allegiance by Clara Lamers; music by Richard Felt and Laura Hutchins; Closing Thought, Freedom is Not Free; and Song, "Bless Be the Tie That Binds." The next meeting is July 2.

The Woodstock High School alumni banquet was held on Saturday, June 16. There were quite a few there. It was good to see the Telstar seniors there to receive their scholarships.

Sympathy is extended to the family of Irene Billings of Milton Township.

The Woodstock-Greenwood Senior Citizens will meet on Thursday, July 5, at the Grange Hall. The dinner will be put on by the Grange. The program will be Hugh "Cubby" Swan. New members are always welcome.

The firemen held their picnic at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hartford on Wednesday. A good time was had by all with plenty of delicious food.
