WEST SUMNER — On June 14, I talked to Larry and Judy Stup. Larry is having a problem with his blood sugar. He sounded good and strong on the phone. Judy says his mind is on coming to Maine. He speaks of it every day. They will have to get Joel, their son, to drive them up or they will have to fly because Larry cannot drive for awhile. Hopefully, when he gets here he will stay well.
My granddaughter, Karen Ramsey, flew here Tuesday with her four sons, Gavin, Colin, Braden and baby Camden Hadley Ramsey. She will stay for three weeks. Her husband Jeremy will come next week and fly back with the family. It is so good to have you here, Karen.
Some of the Hadleys have been having ill health. My get well wishes go to Maurice, Gloria and Maude-Alice. Hope to see you up and about very soon.
Nancy Buck and I went to Market Square Nursing Home last week. We met my classmate Pauline Aube there. Nancy and Pauline are first cousins. Pauline's sister Priscilla is in this home. We visited Mary Robinson, Jackie Stevens, Mabel Dunn and, of course, Priscilla.
The weather man says we are to have five days without rain. I have some cucumber seeds planted in Wilda and Sidney Dunham's garden. I am hoping the rain hasn't washed them away.
I must get this to the Advertiser office and go visit my granddaughter.
Have a great week and enjoy the sun.
