SOUTH WOODSTOCK — Good morning dear readers. It’s a great sunny day here today, temp’s in the middle 50s right now, but then again it’s only 9:35 a.m., so I’m sure it will warm up a bit more before the day is over. There is a little breeze, which makes it just right for line drying clothes today.
Condolences are going out to my cousin Judy on the recent passing of her husband Peter Nason; condolences are also going out to the families of Norma Ewer, Kathleen Bonneau, Sulo Pulkkinen and Margret M. Michaud. Love and prayers to each family member on the loss of their loved ones.
Butterflies galore here for the past couple of weeks, so many different colors and variety of them - I love butterflies, so by their being here in the yard helps brighten my days. God sure does bless us in many ways.
I am headed to the kitchen shortly to cook off some potatoes, macaroni and eggs for salads and a batch of biscuits to have over the weekend with BBQ meats and veggies, this way I will not have to spend my time in the hot kitchen all weekend preparing meals.
Something has been laying in my flowers during the night. Some of the flowers are bend over and broken. I bought some cages to put around the flowers in hopes they will not get any more damage.
Yogi is gonna have to mow again this weekend, the grass has really grown in two weeks time.
Congratulations to all the Seniors who graduated from the class of 2012. Good luck to each of you in whatever field you decide to walk in.
f my phone does not stop ringing I’ll never get my column done today, just too many things going on.
Band practice here Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m. so as to work on our schedule for the Triad program coming up in a few days, then we will be playing for the residents at Ledgeview Living Center later the same day.
That’s all from valley this week. Stay well and live each day to the fullest.
Quote of the week: ”Happiness is like a cat. If you try to coax it or call it, it will avoid you, it will never come. But if you pay no attention to it and go about your business, you’ll find it rubbing against your legs and jumping into your lap.”
