BRYANT POND — Sunday services at the Baptist Church are Sunday School at 9:15 a.m., Morning Worship at 10:30 a.m. and Evening Service at 6 p.m. Prayer meeting is at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

The Woodstock-Greenwood Senior Citizens will meet today, Thursday, March 7, at Ledgeview Living Center in West Paris for a meeting and dinner put on by Ledgeview. The program will be Leslie Baumgartel showing stretching exercise.

The Woodstock Historical Society will meet on Saturday, March 9, at the Town Conference Room at 6 p.m. Larry Bonney will have the program, talking on the early settlements in Woodstock. Light refreshments will follow.

Judith Grover Tent 17, Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War, will meet on Monday, March 11, at the home of Alice Hoyt at 7 p.m. for a regular meeting.

The program at Whitman Memorial Library will be March 14, at 2 p.m. Carol Welsh will be the guest speaker. She is an author and jewelry designer with degrees in Physiology and Human Relations. She is a birth mother and also an adoptive mother.

She has written a book "360 Square," and her mission is to shine light on human strength and resilience, raise awareness of the complexity of adoption and inspire artistic design and the written word.

Guests of Ken and Alice Hoyt and Beth and Steve Hoover have been Marybeth Hoover and cat Rufus from Yarmouth.
