WEST SUMNER — Welcome to snowy West Sumner. Dick Jones from Buckfield took an ice fishing trip to East Grande a couple of weeks ago with his two sons, Rick and Randy, and grandson Ethan.

Dick, Rick and Randy each came back with one big fish each weighing eight pounds. It was a worthwhile trip. They had a good time in spite of the bad weather on the drive home.

I went to Lewiston a week ago to Doctor Sylvester's office to get my infusion of Orencia. My appointment was at 2 p.m. I got there just before. They told me I was early and would have to wait. I waited 15 minutes and I was done in the infusion room just before 3 p.m.

I was told that I could see the doctor at 3 and I went into the waiting room and sat there until 3:45 p.m. and then a nurse put me in a room and I waited some more.

Finally, at a little before 4 p.m. the doctor came in. He started checking me for my arthritis. I told him that my arthritis was fine but my congestion was not. Then he told me to take two vitamin Cs a day, drink lots of orange juice with the pulp in, Gatorade and lots of fluids and stay in.

I finally got out of there at 4 p.m. I then proceeded to Walmart to buy some drinks. I spent over $20 on fluids. I am getting over the virus that has permeated my body over the last four weeks.
