NORWAY — Effective February 26 until further notice, there is a list of 22 roads posted for 23,000 lbs registered vehicle weight. Permits will be issued this year to travel on posted roads as conditions allow.

If you have any questions or want to apply for an emergency permit or a regular permit, please contact Ron Springer at 592-6308 or Jim Tibbetts at 890-5826.

The Roberts Farm Preserve will be staffed from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday that snow is on the trails to allow SAD #17 families to borrow snowshoes or cross country skis to use on the trails. To obtain directions and trail maps, go to www.wfltmaine.org.

The Norway Recreation Department and Norway Youth Baseball will hold registration times for baseball, softball and Tee-ball at the Norway Town Office on Thursday, March 7 from 5-6:30 p.m., Saturday, March 9 from 10 a.m. to noon and Wednesday, March 13 from 5-6:30 p.m.

All parents are asked to attend one of these times to obtain important information for their child’s athletic activity. Registration forms will be available at the sign ups.
