WOODSTOVE FIRE — Oxford Fire Captain Shawn Cordwell said the fire that destroyed the uninsured home of Ross and Donna Damon, at 276 Pleasant Street in Oxford, early Tuesday morning, started near the woodstove. Alerted by their dog's bark, they escaped with their lives and not much else, Cordwell said.
