Six injured in head-on collision in Paris
DEMOLISHED — A 2002 Ford F-250 Super Duty Quad Cab pickup truck hauling a Kabota tractor driven by Shawn Brust, 40, of Norway and a 1996 Ford Ranger Extended Cab pickup, driven by Dillon Soucy, 18, of Oxford, collided head-on on Streaked Mountain Road at 1:05 p.m. Saturday and sent six to the hospital, reported Paris Officer Tim Gamache. According to reports, Soucy, who was the most seriously injured had to be extricated from the vehicle and was taken by LifeFlight to Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. Brust, his passenger Kevin Ellingwood, 48, of South Paris and Soucy's passengers, Herbert May, 39, his daughter Kelsey Hunt, 10, and his niece Desirae May, 13, all of Oxford, were taken Stephens Memorial Hospital - May suffered a broken arm, the two children had abrasions, and the others were treated and released, said Gamache.
