Waterford camp burns to ground, cause unknown

FULLY ENGULFED — Waterford firefighters responded to a structure fire at a private camp on Little Moose Pond off Ben Hale Road late Tuesday afternoon, after a resident across the pond reported the blaze at about 5:20 p.m. According to reports, the camp was fully engulfed with flames when crews arrived. Assistant Fire Chief Bill Haynes said the camp belongs to a local resident Winfield Kimball and his adult children Kyle Kimball and Kelly Parrott-Kimball. Investigators with the State Fire Marshal's Office were on scene Tuesday night, but they say that the cause of the fire is still unknown.
