DO-IT-YOURSELF FIREFIGHTING - When an electrical problem started a fire in the engine compartment of Jerene Stump's 1999 Plymouth Voyager, she pulled into the parking lot at Cornwall Plaza and got her children out. A by-stander used a small fire extinguisher and then bottled water to control the mini-van's mini-blaze. As a precaution, a PACE ambulance was called to check the children and Stump for smoke inhalation, but none required treatment, said Paris police. The Paris Fire Department responded but the cause couldn't be determined at the scene.
