New hires at SAD 17

Genevieve Chaloult, Special Education Ed Tech III, Rowe Elem.

Ms. Chaloult has a BS degree from the University of Maine at Farmington. She currently works for Community Concepts as an Education Technician III in its Intensive Specially Designed Instruction Program, and she is certified as a Behavioral Health Professional.

Raquel Gerry, Special Education Ed. Tech II, Oxford Hills Middle School

Ms. Gerry has an Associate of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education from Western Governor’s University and is pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Education. She has two years of experience as an Ed Tech II at the middle school level.

Rebecca Hood, Special Education Teacher, Paris Elem.

Ms. Hood has a BS Degree in Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Maine at Farmington. She has been employed as a Special Education Teacher at the Child Health Center, now Community Concepts, since May, 2007. She is certified both as a Train the Trainer of Safety Care and as a School Based Behavioral Health Professional.

Dawn Kimball, Food Service Mgr. II, Waterford Mem. Elem.

Ms. Kimball is experienced as a kitchen manager, cook, dietary aide and was the owner/operator of the Daybreak Café in Norway.

Jessica Lyons, Special Education Ed. Tech III, Waterford

Ms. Lyons has a BS degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Maine at Farmington. She completed the last school year as an intern and substitute Educational Technician III in a pre-kindergarten classroom in R.S.U. #10.

Katelyn Merrill, Secretary (part-time), Waterford Mem. Elem.

Ms. Merrill is a graduate of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School and graduated from Bernard’s School of Hair Fashion. She has worked at Norway Savings Bank and Cut Loose Hair Salon.

Stephanie Michaud, Special Education Ed Tech III, Rowe Elem.

Ms. Michaud has been a substitute ed tech in the Oxford Hills District for the past few years. She has 97 credits of higher education in nursing from the University of Southern Maine.

Bailey (Graffam) Reichert, Special Education Ed Tech III, Hebron Station

Ms. Reichert has a BA in Science from the University of Southern Maine and is nearing completion of her Master of Science Degree in Education. She is currently the Director of the Depot Program which is the before and after school program at Hebron Station.

Robert Ripley, Special Education Ed Tech III, Oxford Elem.

Mr. Ripley has a BS Degree from the University of Maine at Farmington. He has been substituting in the Rowe Elem. School’s special education classrooms for the past year.

Jennifer Ruokolainen, Special Education Ed Tech III at Oxford Elem.

Ms. Ruokolainen has an Associate of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education from Central Maine Community College and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Education from the University of Southern Maine. She currently works for Community Concepts as an Ed Tech III in their Specially Designed Instruction Program.

Paul Withee, 2/5 Math, 3/5 Science, OHMS

Mr. Withee has 29 years of math teaching experience between Sanford High School and Foxcroft Academy. He has substituted at the Middle School during the last school year.
