PARIS — A concert will be held at Crazy 8's on February 24 to benefit the family of 19-year-old Logan Dam, who was killed in a West Paris car crash last month.

Maine rapper Spose, best-known for his 2010 hit "I'm Awesome," along with local bands Sandbag, North Star, Flowpez and C WiLL, will be playing at the event. The cover charge is $5, and all proceeds will go to Dam's parents, Douglas and Deborah Dam of Norway.

T-shirts honoring Dam, who family and friends called "Peach," will also be sold at the concert.

Crazy 8's is located at 187 Main Street in Paris. Doors will open at 8 p.m.

According to a Crazy 8's spokesperson, only those 21 or older will be allowed in the bar area, but the pool room will be open to underage kids who want to hear the bands.

Dam is a former student of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School. Rebecca Lynn Mason, 16, West Paris, another student of OHCHS, was also killed in the January 7 accident.

Driver Kristina Lowe, 18, West Paris, and another passenger, Jacob Skaff, 22, Paris were injured in the crash, which police said was a result of alcohol and texting while driving.
