Should the teen driving curfew be earlier than midnight?

Photo:

I think 10 p.m. is a good time, but even in the summer it is past dark. I also don't think friends should be in the car.

I'd support an earlier time, to keep them out of trouble sooner. My kids were always responsible. It depends on parenting, and the trust they have in their kids.

Probably, so they can be home by 10. And with texting, you should pull over to the side of the road.

Midnight is fine. When I started driving there was no curfew. It wouldn't make any difference.

We don't want teens to be out late, anyway. I would say probably 10 p.m. My daughter is gonna kill me.

Nine sounds like a good time. When I was 16, I had to be in the house before eight o' clock. I don't think they should have their license until they are 18.

Yeah, because parents allow kids to do what they want. If it is a law, then they will abide by it. It might make them look at things differently.

I think 9 p.m. would be a better idea. It would lessen the time out late at night.

10 p.m., definitely. With the number of kids who have died, you would think they [the state] would do something. Also, I think if kids are ever caught with drugs or alcohol while driving, they shouldn't get their license back.

I think an earlier time like nine or 10, to get them off the road. Also, we need more rules from parents. Half of them don't care.
